Alola Office gets a Major facelift

Thank you ten times over to GyeongGi Province, Korea!

Alola was able to personally thank representatives of GyeongGi Province in Korea when they came to officially open our new building extensions built and paid for by the Province.

Thanks to them we now have a new shopfront, a huge new training room, a new office for Maternal and Child Health, and our new childcare centre.

Anyone who visited us last year and saw staff sitting three to a desk will be amazed at the difference now.  Our offices are light and airy, more-or-less airconditioned, and just so much more conducive to productive work.

GyeongGi Province has a commitment to a “constant friendship” with Timor-Leste, and especially to working with women and children.  The Korean Ambassador in Timor-Leste, Ambassador Moon, and his staff have become friends after their many visits to supervise the building work and ensure it was all going smoothly.
