The “Alola Foundation” is a non government organization, operating in Timor Leste to improve the lives of women and children. The organization seeks to nurture women leaders and advocate for the rights of women, our motto is “Strong Women, Strong Nation” and we have programs in Maternal & Child Health, Advocacy, Education and Economic Development. Alola Foundation is led by a Board of Management and currently moving towards a management team that is entirely Timorese led.
Currently we are looking for Timorese qualified persons to fill the following positions as;
EDUCATION LIAISON COORDINATOR FOR ALMA PROJECT, EDUCATION PROGRAM, FUNDASAUN ALOLA,
to Improve quality and access to education.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Education Liaison Coordinator will work closely with PHD Education team in coordinating and facilitating the leadership training via face to face or online through JITSI application to school leaders and ToT to local mentors and INFORDEPE national trainers, include but not limited to:

Strong Women Strong Nation – Feto forte Nasaun Forte – Mulheres Forte Nação Fórte
The Education Program is designed to significantly enhance access to and the quality of education in Timor-Leste. It provides robust support to teachers, students, children, and communities, enabling them to acquire the skills and knowledge required to reach their goals. These projects are executed in close collaboration with key partners such as the Ministry of Education, the National Institute for Training of Teachers and Education Professionals (INFORDEPE), and various other educational organizations and institutions.
In the 2023 fiscal year, Fundasaun Alola effectively executed four education projects: Scholarships, Teacher Training, Mobile Libraries, and Community-Based Preschools. This report provides a comprehensive overview of these projects and underscores their significant impact on the organization and the broader community.
