'WHY WORKING WITH WOMEN MATTERS'

At the moment, Alola Australia team is busy preparing for what is set to be a fantastic night, ‘WHY WORKING WITH WOMEN MATTERS’.

“Thank you to our supporters who have already purchased tickets – we look forward to welcoming you. If you haven’t had a chance to book your place, don’t fret, there’s still time!”, a statement from Alola Australia

Attending the dinner is not only a meaningful way to support the work of the Alola Foundation, but a great opportunity to meet and mingle with like-minded guests, listen to fascinating guest speakers and join in the excitement of a live and silent auction.

“There are so many reasons “why working with women matters”. And just as many reasons to book yourself a ticket or ten for Alola Australia’s annual fundraising dinner on 11 October. Do come along and hear from me and Connie Lenneberg of the Brotherhood of Saint Laurence and contribute to an important cause. 🇹🇱💕🙋♀️”, wrote Kirsty Sword Gusmão on Facebook.

Here’s a sneak peek of what’s on offer in this year’s auction:

  • 2 night stay at ‘The Gardens’ in the Bay of Fires, Tasmania
  • 20th Anniversary of Independence commemorative shirt signed by Xanana Gusmão (priceless!!)
  • Coffee and cake with Pat Walsh AM, prominent human rights activist, author and former adviser to the East Timor Commission for Reception, Truth and Reconciliation (CAVR)
  • Subscriptions to Schwartz publications, The Saturday Paper and The Monthly……Plus wine, restaurant vouchers, yoga classes, sustainable goods and more!!

Come along to Alola Australia’s annual dinner – Friday 11 October – Melbourne.
