PROVIDING PUBLIC SPACE FOR YOUTH TO LEARN

The Women’s Resource Center (WRC) program includes a variety of projects aimed at empowering young people, both women and men, to advocate for their own rights. The program provides a public space for women and offers opportunities to enhance their skills, access information, and understand their rights. It also advocates for women’s and children’s issues and assists victims of gender-based violence through referral pathways and humanitarian aid.

Specific activities carried out by the WRC include providing free internet access for young people to facilitate their academic work, offering basic computer training, hosting monthly discussions and seminars on gender and social issues, and promoting awareness of gender-based violence prevention and response strategies.

Other information provided at the center are including referral pathway systems, leadership, public speaking, sexual reproductive health, and prevention of early pregnancy, as well as socialization of PAN GBV for the 2022-2032 period. In addition, the team also provide humanitarian package for victim of GBV who visited the center for seeking assistances and referral.
